#onthetaps and in the fridge is this Czech brewery Kutná Hora based in its namesake medieval town. Established in 1573, then purchased by a big macro brewery and closed down! Then a local entrepreneur restarted brewing at the same historical premises to breathe life back into the place. Quality ingredients, double mashing, open fermentation and traditional cellars are all parts of the fantastic heritage.
The dark lager pouring on draught is caramel, coffee and dark chocolate, with a great drinkability using Pilsener, Munich, Caramel and Carafa 3 malts. The bottle of Kutná Hora’s is Gold 12°, a dry-hopped pilsener 👌
