🎄 Happy 1st of December everyone AND those lucky folks who ordered an
#adventcalendar from us 🗓️ It kicks off today with our Torrside Brewing collaboration and it’s the first time we’ve ever brewed a special beer for our advent boxes. It’s a gently smoky Schwarzbier, which really adds complexity to this chocolatey dark lager.
It was a treat to hang out with Torrside, in stunning New Mills ⛰️ The beer and it’s name was inspired by the wintry season, Japan, Studio Ghibli (especially the cheeky black cat form Kiki’s Delivery Service) and cats. Add in a dash of Cats of Chaos and a meow from Hop Hideout’s cat Mrs Chuckles 🐈⬛ et voilá! Kuroneko (黒猫) literally means black cat in Japanese.
