Matt’s journey in wine began as a merchant. Then later making wine in New Zealand before developing his own winemaking project in Piedmont, Italy. In 2019 he took three hectares of vines in Leicestershire and produces in Nottingham @woldswineestate
His philosophy is farming first and works to organic principles. We have his 2022 Red and 2023 White Field. Open
#bytheglass currently and bottles to take away. The red is 50/50 Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris with vibrant red fruit notes. The white is Seyval, Bacchus and Solaris grapes with a delicious pithy citrus.
