Upcoming Events from Strange Britain: https://strangebritain.EventBrite.com The regular Ghost Tours around Sheffield City Centre continue, now starting from their new meeting point at Leah's Yard every Friday night at 7:30 pm. Leah’s Yard is home to Hop Hideout Beer Shop, so you can grab some refreshments from their great selection of beers and ciders before we begin. Route One features fascinating tales, including that of a Victorian legend with ties to Sheffield, and concludes at The Old Queens Head. Route Two offers stories, including one with hints of Dickens, and finishes in Paradise Square, making it easy to join me afterwards at The Wig & Pen (The Beaten Track) for a drink. Our ghostly cruise along the Sheffield & Tinsley Canal, Voyage for the Damned with A&G Passenger Boats Ltd., is also happening this month, and that ‘s fully booked. If these cruises go well? There might be a third date, so if you missed out, watch this space! Sunday, 1st June, sees us return to the route that started it all: The Infamous Bunting Nook. Then, on Tuesday, 10th June, we have a True Crime Special at Steel City Comedy. If you enjoy dark humour and tales of Victorian mayhem, this is the event for you!
