Our 1st Ticketed Tasting Launches ✨
🎟️Friday 25th October, 8.30pm
🍺Beer From The Wood with Thornbridge Brewery
We’re excited to welcome Thornbridge Brewery to our new space, after further expansion, with a new Bakewell office focused on sustainability operations and saving the Union brewing heritage equipment from Marston’s, we’re always excited to hear what they’ve been up to.
This event is a special one as we’ll also be celebrating our new wooden pin, launching our cask line with this event. Jules arranged with master cooper Alastair Simms (ex Theakstons and Wadworth) up at Jensens Cooperage in North Yorkshire to pick up a refurbished wooden pin especially for Hop Hideout. It’ll be our first time in 10 years pouring cask ale, it’s something we’ve always loved, so we thought why not get our own wooden one! The pin has been worked on by master cooper Jonathan Manby (ex Theakstons) and has its own120 year history.
For the first time, or maybe only the second (!), Thornbridge’s flagship IPA Jaipur will be headed into wood, as part of this tasting. Expect a selection of beers from their Union system, barrel-aged, new specials and of course a pint of Jaipur from our special wooden pin.
£15per person. Tickets on our webshop, link in below. Or call in store to book. Limited availability.
