It’s amazing to see so much happening in Sheffield and we absolute love it, so bravo to everyone involved in making @crossedwiresfest happen 💯 @lucyyoungceramics had just finished hand making all the Hop Hideout Crowdfunder tankards and picked a perfect weekend to deliver them, so we enjoyed a beer together to celebrate (we’re saving the big reveal till nearer opening…) at the @thornbridge pop-up at neighbouring Bethel Chapel. It’s currently open hosting the #crossedwirespod frindge events; where we enjoyed a pint of their Podcask. We nipped over to the @thecrowinn to hear from @drinkmapbook about her newly published via @bodleianlibrarypublishing book Drink Maps In Victorian Britain. Hosted by @labiblioteka with a tap takeover from @beerofsmod 📚🍺 Then headed back to City Hall to hear journalist, author, documentary film and podcast maker @jonronson share insights and stories from his lengthy career. Some part terrifying, totally illuminating, uncontrollably comedic, and utterly unbelievable situations yet wholly true 👏 We finished the night sharing some rousing tunes with @selfesteemselfesteem at the after party 🤘 We bloody love our city x x x
