Facebook post by Hop Hideout Beer Shop

☀️ Afternoon ☀️ Just thought we’d share a reminder… ➡️ Hop Hideout is an independent specialist beer shop and tasting room run by Jules Gray @beer_revere currently based inside foodhall, Kommune. We were one of the 1st in the UK. Head inside the main door and you can find us hiding out past the main bar on the right. The tasting room element means you can drink everything in the foodhall too, at our own counter and table or anywhere in the #foodhall We also run events and offer beer tastings (for groups of 2 to 30 and sometimes even bigger!). We have fridges and 4 draught taps, which change regularly as deliveries come in every week. Our stock is 100% cold stored. We also have a website offering UK mainland #mailorder #clickandcollect AND Sheffield #homedelivery options 🛍️ 🍺🍷🍎 Hop Hideout stocks quality ciders and low intervention wines too, plus a good range of #nolowalcohol drinks in addition. We’re also passionate about the whole range of beautiful #beerstyles and the funky/wild/sour side of beer. We invest a lot of time and research hunting out intriguing drinks for you to try. 👶 The Foodhall is very accessible for folks, with ramps, and offering disabled toilets and baby changing facilities at both ends of the space. Our counter also has a lower service area for folks in wheelchairs to access. 🎶 As it’s a large shared space it can get noisy, however we find that inbetween lunch trade and after work it’s actually reasonably quieter 2.30-5pm. So if you’d like to visit in a quieter time Mon to Fri, we recommend those times. Also Sunday is usually nice and chilled. ✨ 2023 is our 10th year at Hop Hideout, having started along Abbeydale Road in our own shop, then moving to the foodhall in 2019. Wonder what we’ll do next 🤔… 💗Jules is passionate about good causes, supporting women and minority-owned indie drinks businesses and supporting her local beer scene. She’s been in the beer trade over 20 years. We pay our staff the Living Wage. We also host the Hop Hidoeut #runningclub 🍺As an indie event organiser Jules also started Sheffield Beer Week (2015) to celebrate the local beer scene and launched beer festival Indie Beer Feast (2018)🍺✨ #cheersforyoursupport
