Facebook post by Hop Hideout Beer Shop

What a weekend, thanks from team Hop Hideout, we loved welcoming regulars and loads of new folks through the yard, including leg-ends like Michael Palin, Alice Levine, Greg James, Sara Cox and more! There was a brilliant buzz from our neighbours Persephonica’s #podcastfestival Crossed Wires Fest throughout the city and we couldn’t be prouder to see it happen in #Sheffield 🎧 A big CHEERS to the the team, podcast hosts and guests, volunteers and everyone involved in delivering such an impactful event. We had some fun with our #drinksandpodcasts pairings, and even managed 15 mins up on the #podcast Fringe stage in Leah's Yard. Talking up #womeninbeer including a shout to @botanical_brewster and Em Redfearn for this latest @buxtonbrewery radler release (our tip for a #beerstyle to watch this summer!)🍋 And we squeezed in a book recommend from Dr Christina Wade - ‘The Devil’s in the Draught Lines’, which covers 1,000 years of women in Britain’s beer history. More on that tomorrow! See you then when we’re back open for another fun filled week 🫶 Welcome to Sheffield
