About us

We are a DIY members venue and bar. A subscription to one of our membership options is required to attend the space, our events and workshops and you can find full details of the different options on our website.

Gut Level is a not-for-profit community space and collective that aims to provide social and creative opportunities for underrepresented groups in Sheffield, with a particular focus on LGBTQ+ people, women and gender minorities.

Our venue on Chapel Walk is a social space to hang out, listen to music and meet friends. Open to members 5 days a week, we host gigs, club nights, workshops, co-working and more! The venue is set across two floors which includes a roof terrace that houses our community garden project.

We hope to create a community in which people can share skills, support and inspire each other and most importantly - dance!
