This special guide for Father's Day 2025 showcases 20 different ideas, experiences and - let's be honest - mainly places to eat and drink in Sheffield city centre on and around Sunday 15 June.

1️⃣ Treat dad to a Radler...or two 🍻

📍 Hop Hideout inside Leah's Yard

Head to the lovely Hop Hideout - you'll find them inside the wonderful Leah's Yard, the city centre's 'independent shopping, dining, and workspace destination' - on Sunday 15 June for 'Radler Dad'.

Give Dad some 'me time' whilst he gets to enjoy a 'variety of refreshing Radlers on the taps and in cans'.

2️⃣ Enjoy a special dog-friendly film screening

📍 Curzon Cinema, George Street

Did you know that the Curzon on George Street host dog-friendly screenings every Sunday?

These weekly screenings offer lowered sound for dog owners and their canine companions.

Of course dog lovers without one of their own are also always welcome!

The Father's Day special dog-friendly screening is...How To Train Your Dragon, a live-action remake of the beloved animation that 'explores the bond between a Viking boy and his dragon, a friendship that flies in the face of centuries of tradition. Together, they confront an ancient threat that endangers both species.'

3️⃣ Find their Chocolate Love Match

📍 Hotel Chocolat, Fargate

Discover their 'Chocolate Love Match' with the help of the lovely team at Hotel Chocolat on Fargate.

They're hosting two Chocolate Love Match sessions on Friday 13 June, one at 1pm the other at 2pm.

Each guided experience lasts around 30 minutes and you can book with up to three fellow chocolate lovers.

But there's also a thriving independent scene in the city centre, so make sure you make a beeline for Chapel Walk favourites Bird's Yard as well as one of the city centre's newest arrivals...Leah's Yard off Cambridge Street. They're home to the likes of the McKee Gallery and Gravel Pit...it's a real treasure trove!
