A new month, 🌼 and it’s finally April sunshine, luckily we managed to swerve #aprilfoolsday as we were closed! Here we are opening up for a fresh week on a Wed with delectable new Spanish wines thanks to @tenaya_wine for the selection 🍾 Altolandon are located in Landete, between three provinces: Valencia, Cuenca and Teruel. They’re up at an altitude of 1100 metres, at the highest point! The estate has a total of 200 hectares and the winery is located right in the middle. Rosalia Molina is the co-owner and head winemaker @altolandonwines and she is known for following organic principles to make these quality wines, authentically reflecting the unique terroir as much as she can. Choosing the varieties, rootstock and clones that are best suited to their specific climate and soil type. Think Malbec, Syrah, Garnacha, Merlot, Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc (reds) and Chardonnay and Moscatel Petit-Grain (white) varieties. We’ve a trio of her wines in for take out, plus the #Malbec and #muscatblancàpetitsgrains are open by the glass currently for drink in ⤵️ 🍾 Mil Historias Malbec 13.5% smooth, deep red fruits like blackberry and blueberry notes 🍾 Doña Leo 13% Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains 100%. Fresh acidity, peachy delight. 🍾 Enblanco 12% great entry orange with spontaneous fermentation on the skins in amphora. Light orange pink hue, aromas of stone fruits - apricot, mirabelle plum #hophideout #beershop #wedowinetoo #lowinterventionwine #takeaway #drinkin #drinkinbeershop
