Sheffield BID maintain a series of life-saving defibrillators at a number of outdoor locations across the city centre providing public access to defibrillators 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

These defibrillators were first installed through a partnership between Sheffield BID and Westfield Health Charitable Trust which was supported by the Yorkshire Ambulance Service.

Whilst Pulsepoints defibrillators are publicly accessible, they are located inside protective cabinets. A code is required to access the defibrillator unit itself.

In an emergency call 999 immediately and the operator will help you to find and use a defibrillator should there be a need to use one.

Locate your nearest defibrillator using the Defib Finder.

  • The Defib Finder, funded and managed by the British Heart Foundation, is a helpful tool that enables you to find the nearest defibrillator(s) to you. 
  • The information on Defib Finder is taken from The Circuit, the national defibrillator network which is also funded and managed by the British Heart Foundation (BHF). 
  • Defib Finder pulls through information from The Circuit to show the 10 closest defibs to the location searched on.
