🎨 Calling Sheffield schools in S5, S35 & S36! 🎨 We’re launching Pick a Picture — a brand-new pilot project giving one primary and one secondary school from the north of the city the chance to have an artwork from Sheffield's collection on display in their school for a whole academic year! We have some fabulous artworks to choose from, including work by local artists, abstracts, portraits, landscapes and still lifes - you’ll be able to choose an artwork that inspires your pupils and will enable you to spark creative teaching and learning experiences across the curriculum, and you will be supported by Sheffield Museums’ Schools Team and by our experienced curators and technicians. ✨Plus, the two selected schools will receive £500 towards transport to visit The Millennium Gallery and Graves Gallery! 📍 Eligible postcodes: Sheffield schools in S5, S35 or S36 📨 E-mail learning@sheffieldmuseums.org.uk to express your interest and request an application form. ⏰ Deadline: Fri 13 Feb 🏃♀️

Music in the Round is looking for a Sheffield Programme Manager to help shape and deliver our concerts and events in Sheffield, including the Sheffield Chamber Music Festival. 🎶 Working closely with our Head of Programmes, you’ll play a key role in bringing world-class chamber music to audiences, alongside inclusive learning and participatory work. We’re after someone who’s passionate about music, committed to diversity and inclusion, and enjoys collaborating within a small, friendly team. If you’re organised, adaptable, and bring enthusiasm to your work, we’d love to hear from you. This hands-on role involves: 🔹 Planning and delivering concerts and events across Sheffield 🔹 Liaising with artists, agents, venues and partners 🔹 Coordinating schedules, logistics and event administration 🔹 Supporting Learning & Participation activity and audience development 🔹 Contributing to marketing, communications and reporting 💷 Salary: £16,800 (FTE £28,000 per annum) 📅 Part-time, permanent role – 21 hours per week.
