It’s a style that nearly disappeared, but thanks to breweries like Pinta, Torrside and Schlenkerla we get to know and try it! For the first time we have Berliner Kindl’s Waldmeister Berliner Weisse - with woodruff syrup. Another brewery famous for keeping tradition alive @berlinerkindl_1872 (though part of the largest brewery group in Germany - Radeberger). This bright green woodruff sour wheat beer is uniquely herbal, and subtly tart. Both beers are so idiosyncratic and wonderful on their own terms.
