We’re super excited to be taking part in @kidsinmuseums Takeover Day again for 2025! ⁠ ⁠ This year, St Mary's CE Academy will be taking over the museum tomorrow and taking part in our ‘Museum Maker’ workshop, where they will get the chance to become mini-curators for the day and explore the different roles and responsibilities needed to make the museum run. Last year, we invited three local SEND schools to take over the museum. They had a fantastic time creating ideas for new exhibits and games for the Museum. Coached by Peter Cropper (first violin of the Lindsay String Quartet and founder of Music in the Round) in the early years of their collaboration, they have since gone from strength to strength.
