Behind every great night in the Bog is a team keeping the drinks topped up, the music thumping, and the chaos (mostly) under control. Our crew of six - no, you didn’t count wrong! The lovely Millie was at her day job when we snapped this - work their magic from open to close, shaking up everything from Daiq’s to one of our 20 bespoke cocktails. Next time you’re in, raise a glass to the people behind the bar making it all happen. (Tequila is also very much appreciated.) We are open 4pm - 2am tonight so pop on down say hello! 📸 p_e_d_a_l_o
Film Friday is here! 🎬✨ This week’s lineup: HOPPERS: What if you could finally understand what animals are saying? In Disney and Pixar’s newest adventure, scientists discover how to “hop” human consciousness into lifelike robotic animals - so people don’t just observe wildlife, they become it! THE BRIDE!: Fresh off her Award Season sweep, Jessie Buckley stars in a retelling of Frankenstein's story directed by Maggie Gyllenhaal. In 1930s Chicago, a murdered young woman is brought back to life to be a companion for Frankenstein's monster. But what ensues is beyond what they could ever have imagined... PEAKY BLINDERS: THE IMMORTAL MAN: Oscar winner Cillian Murphy returns as Tommy Shelby: back from a self-imposed exile, he must face his most destructive reckoning yet, and choose whether to confront his legacy, or burn it to the ground. IF I HAD LEGS I’D KICK YOU: Starring Oscar-nominee Rose Bryne, this electrifying drama follows a woman attempting to navigate her child's mysterious illness, her absent husband, a missing person, and a hostile relationship with her therapist. THE DEPARTED: Brutal, breathless, and endlessly quotable, Scorsese's Oscar-winning crime saga dives deep into loyalty, identity, and betrayal on the streets of Boston. JAMES ACASTER: CINEMAGORES WELCOME: Experience one of the most daring live comedy events of recent years, as James Acaster brings his acclaimed stand-up experiment to the big screen. MOTHER'S PRIDE: From the team behind Fisherman’s Friends comes a story about the Harley family, who after losing their matriarch, must come together to save their pub and village through the art of beer-brewing.
