Our Big Give Christmas Challenge is just 7 days away! Next week, our Big Give Christmas Challenge begins. For one week only, every donation will be doubled, a week of fundraising that will help us keep live music alive in Sheffield’s primary schools. WeCompose will help us bring our composer Ellen Sargen, a professional string musician and star soprano Claire Booth, into classrooms to co-create music with children who rarely have access to high-quality arts education. At a time when creativity is disappearing from the curriculum, this project gives children the chance to find their voice, build confidence and discover what they’re capable of. It changes how they see themselves and what they believe they can achieve. The children will perform their pieces in the 2026 Sheffield Chamber Music Festival! This is what our Mondays/Tuesdays look like. A whole lot of prep goes into keeping a bar like ours running. Fresh and local ingredients are our pride and joy. If you swing by on a Tuesday you might spot us at Station 2 straining and filtering fat-washes or acid adjusting one of our many cordials. We’re open late…come down and get stuck in!
