It just wouldn't be Valentine's Day without tracking down the perfect card for your 'plus one' 💌
If you're looking for something just that 'little bit different' or perhaps something 'Made in Sheffield', make sure you have Bird's Yard on Chapel Walk and the Sheffield Makers Shop in the Winter Garden on your list.
And, if you're looking for something to go with that 'perfect card', Bird's Yard and the Sheffield Makers Shop also stock some lovely gifts from a wide range of local creatives.
You should also add All Good Stuff at Butcher Works on Arundel Street to your list. They sell a range of arts and crafts, from pottery to jewellery, made by local artists and makers and all at reasonable prices.
Next it's time to take a venture to one of the city centre's latest arrivals, Leah's Yard...you'll find the entrance tucked away off Cambridge Street.
In Leah's Yard you'll find a lovely bunch of independents in Leah's Yard, a perfect place for picking up that truly independent gift.
There's plenty to choose from, but we'd recommend making a beeline for Pete McKee's Gallery and Gravel Pit...where 'hip hop meets horticulture'. Visit Gravel Pit's online store before you visit for some gifting inspiration.
💡 Before you leave Leah's Yard, don't forget to visit La Biblioteka for your next great read, Hop Hideout for a 'beery reward' and Mester's Market for a deli treat. You could even pick up one their beautiful Sheffield Hamper Company boxes for that special someone in your life...to share of course!

Each guided experience lasts 30 minutes, and you can book with up to three fellow chocolate lovers to share the chocolate happiness.
Tickets are £7.50 per person and you will sample a range of flavour profiles before revealing your perfect match...presented as a chocolate heart of course 😋

You'll find plenty of places in Sheffield city centre ready and waiting to give you a special Valentine's treat this year. Here are just a few of the venues, and some themed special offers, that we think are worthy of some further investigation 🕵️
At All Bar One on Leopold Street 'Love is in the air' with thier Valentine's Day menu.
Four 'delicious small plates' and two glasses of Moet & Chandon from £34.95. Perfect for date night or just for getting the gang together 🥂
A short stroll across Leopold Street into Leopold Square takes you to Bamboo Door.
Yoiu can 'enjoy the night with a little bit of bubbly to set the mood', even if you’re spending the night with your gals and pals, grab a bottle, have a natter and celebrate. Happy Hour on, as usual, between 4-7pm.
Head to The Botanist, in their new location in the Heart of the City (what used to be The Furnace), where they're serving their Valentine’s sharing menu of dishes for two for £32.50 per person.
It includes a small plate of your choice alongside their 'special Raspberry Rhapsody Mojito', their 'signature sharing kebab' and a Valentine's 'Doughn't You Want Me Baby' cookie-dough, complete with prosecco and raspberry jelly shots...served with two spoons of course!
The Botanist's Valentine's set menu is available from Thursday 13 to Sunday 16 February, alongside their full a la carte menu.
Browns Sheffield are planning a 'divinely delicious' three-course set menu, created especially for Valentine’s Day. Fantastic food alongside fabulous cocktails and the 'buzzing brasserie atmosphere' ❤️
Their Valentine’s set menu is available from Thursday 13 to Saturday 15 February and is the only menu available after 5pm on Friday 14 February.
At Cubana in Leopold Square, diners can look forward to a romantic Valentine's Day tapas alongside a series of live music acts.
All diners receive a free glass of prosecco to help get your celebrations off to the perfect start 🥂 Visit the Cubana website for full details.
Over at Ego Mediterranean Restaurant and Bar on Surrey Street, they're serving up a special three course menu for £34.95. Available from Thursday 13 to Saturday 15 February.
Head to Forum Sheffield on Division Street for two pizzas and a bottle of wine for £30. And there's live music from 7pm.
What are you waiting for?
Down the street at True North compatriot Common Room Sheffield, it's two mains and an hour of pool or darts for two for just £25. Full details on the Common Room Sheffield website.
Inside the Radisson Blu on Pinstone Street you'll find the Governor Gupta rooftop bar and restaurant, serving up 'tandoor-smoked plates and signature cocktails'.
Their Valentine's Day four course menu is priced at £39 per person and includes a cocktail on arrival.
At Guyshi on West Street, Sheffield's 'first Japanese charcoal BBQ and bar', they're offering 'love birds and Val pals', their special Valentine's set menu between Monday 10 and Sunday 16 February 💞
At Manahatta, located just across from Sheffield City Hall in Fountain Precinct, they're asking you (well, telling you!) to 'round up your besties' and join them for a Galentine's Rodeo like no other 🤠
It's a two-hour 'Rodeo Bottomless Galentine's Special' between 2-4pm on Sunday 16 February.

At Miller and Carter Sheffield on Surrey Street, their Valentine’s sharing steak and champagne experience 'is a beautifully indulgent way to share your love of steak (and each other)'.
Enjoy the finest cuts of 30-day aged Fillet, Black Angus Sirloin, and Ribeye, paired with delicious sides in a romantic, cosy setting. Complete the experience with a glass of Moët & Chandon or Whispering Angel Rosé for that perfect touch. Available all day from Saturday 8 to Saturday 15 February.

Silversmiths on Arundel Street can be relied upon to create a memorable dining experience and this Valentine's is no different. This year their Valentine's Day set menu features something to suit all tastes.

How about venturing to Holly Street to Turtle Bay where they'll be serving up their 'One Love’ Valentine's set menu, guaranteed to be a taste sensation 😋

At Vocation & Co on Devonshire Street they're serving up a 'feast for two' 💞
For just £40 per couple you can enjoy a main, side and dessert together with a 'a taste of Vocation', a flight board featuring a selection of their finest beers.

Who doesn't love games night, right? Thanks to this little lot, you can still enjoy all the fun of Valentine's whilst getting stuck in to some healthy competition.

Head to Sheffield City Hall for the Last Laugh Comedy Club featuring laughs aplenty from Joe Zalias, Alistair Barrie, Sam Serrano and Danny Posthill.

A few ideas for this Valentine's season to suit all tastes and budgets.
Head to LUSH Sheffield on Fargate for their Valentine's Day Product Making sessions.
They'll be hosting product making sessions between Friday 14 and Sunday 16 February of this season's 'must-haves'...
💌 Love Letter Bath Bomb - brings a special delivery of skin-softening coconut milk powder and sweet bergamot oil, with a creamy strawberry sundae scent.

The touring production of Ghost Stories, created by The League of Gentlemen’s Jeremy Dyson and Andy Nyman, visits the Lyceum Theatre between Tuesday 11 and Saturday 15 February.
